Rules for exhibitors at the Tee und Wein fest 1. and 2. June 2024

  1. General provisions 
  1. These rules apply to all exhibitors participating in the Tee und Wein fest (hereinafter referred to as the festival).
  2. The rules apply for the entire duration of the festival , including the day of assembly and disassembly .
  3. The organizer of the festival is Zhongyou – communication and technologies s.r.o., Sládkovičova 9, Modra, Slovakia, registered at the District Court Bratislava I, file number 75314/B., ID number: 46294660

 II.      Definition

  1. Stand coordinator – a person appointed by the organizer for contact with exhibitors (hereinafter referred to as the coordinator).
  2. Stand – an exhibition area secured by the organizer during the Tee und Wein fest for exhibitors, with a specific sales area, without equipment, with access to electricity (hereinafter referred to as the stand).

III. Date and venue of the festival

  1. The festival takes place on June 1, 2024 – June 2, 2024 in the Castle Park in Kittsee – map .
  2. Assembly and preparation of the stands is from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Premature disassembly due to logistics after agreement with the organizers. Proper dismantling after the end of the festival.
  3. Festival opening hours:

Saturday: 11:00 – 21:00 hours
Sunday: 9:30 – 17:00 hours

IV. Registration and accounting requirements for exhibitors

  1. Registration of participants takes place by filling in the registration form, which can be found on the website https://www.teeundwein.com/en/registration-exhibitors/ (hereinafter only the registration form).
  2. By sending the completed application form and paying the fee for renting the stand in thefull  amount , i.e. by registering, you reserve a place.
  3. Exhibitor registration must be submitted by May 22, 2024.
  4. By registering, you confirm acceptance of the established rules.
  5. The decision on the allocation of a stand in the area of Kittsee Schloss park will be sent to you by the organizer at the email you provided.
  6. The organizer reserves the right to reject a request for a stand without giving a reason.

V. Waiver of Participation

1)  By renouncing participation in the festival before a positive decision is made, the organizers do not incur costs from the registered exhibitor.

2)      By refusing to participate in the festival after a positive decision has been made, the organizers incur a loss that stems from securing the stand, and it is therefore necessary to pay the stand fee.

VI. Stand selection principles

1)  The exhibitor makes a reservation of the stand by sending the registration form. In the form, specify the dimensions of the stand.

2)  The cost of the stand is indicated in the registration form. The price is set for a stand with a maximum size of 3x3m. In the case of larger sizes, the price increases accordingly. The specific price will be sent to the exhibitor by email based on the stated dimensions.

3)  The location of the stands is laid out according to the order in the registration form.

4)  The exhibitor will be informed about the location by the organizer upon arrival at the festival venue.

VII. Exhibitors‘ responsibility and protection of the exhibition space

1)  The organizers are not responsible for damage caused by exhibitors to third parties or caused by the fault of the exhibitor.

2)  During the opening hours of the festival and after its end, the exhibitor is obliged to secure the stand, products, equipment, appliances and other objects in it against possible damage or theft at their own expense. He is obliged to properly close the sales area at the end of the day.

3)  The exhibitor is obliged to properly secure the cash register at the end of each day of the festival (including the day of assembly and disassembly of the stand).

4)  The exhibitor bears full responsibility for any damage made to the organizer as a result of non-compliance with safety rules and for damage to the stand and property entrusted to the exhibitor.

5)  The exhibitor is responsible for damages caused by his employees and other persons who cooperate with him.

6)  The organizer is not responsible for the loss of the exhibitor’s profit due to force majeure.

7)  The organizer is not responsible for damage to goods due to power failure, water supply, extreme weather conditions, etc.

8)  The organizer is not responsible in case of theft of goods and equipment located in the stand.

9)  The organizer is not responsible for defects in the electrical installation of the exhibitors‘ stands.

10)  The organizer is not responsible for the activity of exhibitors requiring permission, license or proceedings for the protection of trademarks, patents, certificates of products presented at the festival.

11)  The organizer is not responsible for changes in the organization of the festival, for its cancellation or interruption, and for changes in organizational or financial conditions caused by force majeure or governmental or local authorities.

12)  The organizer disclaims responsibility for the exhibitor’s form of settlement with the tax office and other institutions – the sale is made at its own risk.

VIII. Conditions of participation

1) The exhibitor is not entitled to waive or waive free or chargeable use or otherwise make available all or part of the leased sales area.

2)  Exhibitors are obliged to respect the dimensions of their stand and not exceed its boundaries.

3)  Assembly and disassembly of the goods in the stand is carried out by the exhibitor in his own scope and at his own expense.

4)  The exhibitor organizes the exhibition stands himself.

5)  All additional installations, as agreed in advance with the organizer, are carried out at the stand and at your own expense.

6)  Assembly and disassembly of stands can only be carried out on days and hours specified by the organizer.

7)  The exhibitor is obliged to maintain order during the festival and, after its end, return a clean stand and dispose of the waste it produced there.

8)  The handling and use of the stands must be in accordance with the applicable regulations, especially with regard to health and safety also when handling fire. It must not pose a risk to persons or property and must not obstruct the passage or the use of places by other exhibitors.

9)  The exhibitor is obliged to arrive at the festival site at his own expense – the organizer does not reimburse exhibitors for travel expenses.

10)  There is a strict ban on the use and sale of plastic items at the festival – especially plastic tableware, cutlery and packaging.

11)  At the festival, there is a categorical ban on selling and promoting:

–          soldiers, weapons , etc.

–          gambling

–          erotic aids

–          religious organizations

–          parties and political groups

–  performance-enhancing drugs (PED) in the list of prohibited substances of the World Anti-Doping Organization in accordance with the applicable Austria law.

Failure to comply with these rules will result in a penalty and removal of the stand at the festival.

IX. Complaints

1) Exhibitors are obliged to report any complaints to the festival coordinator immediately.

2)   Complaints made after the end of the festival will not be considered.

X. Final Provisions

1)  The organizer reserves the right to cancel, partially close or temporarily shorten the deadline of the festival for reasons unrelated to the organization. In this case, no refund or reduction of the previously paid fee is applicable.

2)  The organizer reserves the right to final interpretation of these conditions.

3)  In matters not regulated by the Participation Agreement and these rules, the provisions of the Civil Code shall apply.

4)  The organizer reserves the right to make changes in the rules. Exhibitors will be notified of these changes via e-mail.

5)  The organizer is responsible for solving any disputes that are not mentioned in the rules.

6)  If you do not comply with or violate these conditions, you will be asked to leave the festival immediately.
